Portreath to Devoran, time to test the legs!

Time to see how fit my legs are.

A planned 22 miler today following the Mineral tramway from Portreath on the North coast to Devoran, touching the water on the South coast of Cornwall.

I manages to damage my ankle within the first half mile, lessoned learnt today- do not walk 21.5 miles on a damaged ankle, the body doesn't like it!

An enjoyable walk, even though it was very tough towards the end but good training for the second day of the 10 Highest Peaks in Scotland (going to be a very tough day that one).

Out with James today. Drive upto Postbridge to follow (well, we were meant too) the East Dart River to Sandy Hole Pass. We walked a total of 11 miles taking in Rough tor, Devils tor, Lydford tor, Longaford and Arch tor then back to Postbridge.

A good trek on a sunny and cold day.
