Thought I'd start my training with a nice cold amble across Bodmin moor, taking in Catshole, Brown Willy, Codda and Tolborough Tor. I had planned on clambering to the top of Rough Tor but the energy levels were well and truly depleted by then so thought I'd save it for another day.
An enjoyable day, covering just under 9.5 miles and totally shattered come the end!

Inspiration
Well, I've had a fair bit of spare time to sit around thinking and after some internet inspiration and my grey matter working overtime (yeah I know, dangerous)I came up with a crazy idea of raising some money for The National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease.
Not having been anywhere near a rucksack for a good 10 years I thought a nice trek to Everest base camp was in order. I'd love to climb Everest itself but illness and mainly money doesn't allow that kind of fun. I was gobsmacked when I saw how much the climbing permit is!
So, after some questions to people and alot of googling things started rolling on.
